Description

On a plein-air paint out late one afternoon just before sunset, I came across this lovely little dirt lane, a short cut to the White River in Cotter, Arkansas. Quickly I set about sketching in the scene, scrubbing in oil colors quickly on my canvas before darkness took away my view. I finished in my studio when I got home.
